“Today in Russia there is no special legislation, but there are different positions of regulatory bodies. For example, recently the Ministry of Justice declared that in our country special regulation of cryptocurrency is not needed at all since at the moment crypto currency is considered as other property. In addition, there are a lot of disputes related to the final drafts of the draft laws “On the CFA”, “On Amendments to the Civil Code”, “On Crowdfunding” – it can be assumed that until the legal nature of digital assets is determined and certainty in law enforcement. Under such circumstances, businesses and citizens will not be able to predict the consequences of the use/acquisition of digital assets. ”

“The fact that we are starting to study at the 7th BCL course flow speaks to the presence of demand for lawyers who understand modern technologies and can resolve numerous disputes, execute transactions and contribute to the development of the digital economy in our country. Our teachers, who are practicing lawyers in the field of blockchain technologies, can not just talk about the theoretical aspects of working with the blockchain – they also highlight issues arising in practice and ways to solve them. ”

After graduation, many graduates are involved in legal support of blockchain projects and open their own business in this area. Recently, a BCL project was written in the Forbes American article, which is devoted to the principles of building new law schools – “Future Law School. What Does It Look Like?
